Kao the Kangaroo is looking for a 2D ARTIST | TATE MULTIMEDIA S.A | WARSAW
Kao the Kangaroo, one of the most iconic characters in the Polish gaming history, is coming back in a brand new game. Fans’ expectations are huuuuge, and we’re looking for a person who is going to help us create some awesome graphics. Places where no other kangaroo has been hopping around. So, do you think that you could give a helping boxing glove?
RESPONSIBILITIES – in other words – what we ask you to do?
- Designing the world and elements of the game (locations, items, characters, etc.)
- Collaboration in a team of graphic designers to maintain a coherent vision of projects
- Active participation in the process of creating
- Periodic presentation of your work
REQUIREMENTS – how will we know that you’re a perfect fit?
- Strong understanding of composition, form, lighting, and color
- Ability to adapt the graphic style to the chosen artistic direction
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Passion for video games
- Experience in game development projects
- Nice to have:
– Knowledge of Substance Painter
– Experience in marketing, web design, or UI design
